Sofie Lantto has her roots in Gällivare in Swedish Lapland and inspires daily to go out into the woods or mountains. The inspiration for The mountains are calling the mug is taken from the mountains in her home area. The dream is that people will use the mugs for generations and that someone finds an enamel mug in a cottage long after my death and gets a smile, makes coffee and drinks with deep sips.

The enamel mug can be bought with or without a lid. The lid is a practical lid made of wood that makes it possible to use your mug as a jar. Then you can easily bring some cookies or candy on your adventure. You can also use the lid as a cutting board when you cut a piece of sausage or dried meat by the fire. It is also possible to use the lid to keep your drink warm a little bit longer, but we don’t recommend hat you go any longer distances, then it is better to use a thermos. 

The lid needs to be impregnated before use, so rub it in with some oil, regular cooking oil or olive oil works perfectly!

Care instructions
The mug can be washed in a dishwasher and kept over an open fire, but can NOT be run in the microwave. If the enamel gets a hard blow, it can crack and start rusting right there. But take care of it and the mug will remain for many generations. We do not accept complaints about discarded enamel if the mug was intact upon delivery. But if there is a stain in the enamel, do not be sad. You can use the mug anyway!
